The UW-Whitewater Chamber Singers is a select ensemble of 30-36 members, including music majors as well as singers from across the campus. The choir's repertoire embraces everything from Renaissance madrigals to masterworks of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, to music composed within the last several years, including new pieces written especially for the group. The choir tours annually in the upper Midwest and beyond. In May of 2010, the Chamber Singers embarked upon a ten-day tour of Germany and the Czech Republic. Membership by audition only.
Vocal Jazz Ensemble is a select ensemble of 12-16 mixed voices that performs a wide variety of repertoire, covering all styles in the contemporary vocal idiom, including jazz, pop, and Broadway. Performs on campus and on annual tours. Membership by audition only. Openings are also available for the instrumental combo and sound technicians.
